At our last Men’s Breakfast Pastor Joshua introduced us to Fasting by leading us through various scriptures. Some in our group were moved by the idea of FASTING and proposed we FAST at our next meeting, we voted and a small majority voted for a FAST. However, we will accommodate everyone and forgo the scrambled egg, bacon and sausage and instead offer bagels, cream cheese, fruit, juice, coffee and tea for those who do not or can’t fast, but for those who want to fast please do so.
For the past 3 months we have introduce aspects of Spiritual Discipline; regular Bible reading, prayer and fasting. This Saturday we will spend time sharing our thoughts, struggles, benefits of practicing these basic disciplines. Something to think about, Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” NKJV; “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” ESV… are we sharpening one another?
Setup and preparation at 8:00 AM, with snacks served at 9:00 AM, and a short talk after. Cleaned up and out by 10:30 AM. Ask your friends, neighbours, brothers and sons to join us for fellowship!

SUNDAYS, MARCH 10th - APRIL 14th, AFTER FELLOWSHIP
Last year we investigated the Prayer Jesus taught His Disciples. Join us for an hour of teaching, discussion & prayer as we look at the Prayer Jesus prayed for His Disciples.
Who did Jesus pray for? Why? What concerns did he raise in this prayer? Does it have any importance for us in today’s world?
