Affordable Healthcare in Cameroon — ARDFC

Affordable Healthcare in Cameroon — ARDFC

Anglican Relief and Development Fund Canada (ARDFC) is partnering with the Anglican Diocese of Cameroon to provide a full service healthcare clinic in the city of Douala. It will offer inexpensive, quality care to people who do not have access to, or who cannot afford, health care and medications.

The clinic will be operated by the Diocese, which is part of the Church of West Africa, and is expected to provide care to about 1000 patients each month. The Diocese will ensure that patients have access to affordable care as well as hear the Good News of the Great Physician.

MULLY — Documentary Film

MULLY — Documentary Film

CHANGING THE WORLD ONE CHILD AT A TIME

October 4 & 12, 2017 | Cineplex Colisée Kirkland

What happens when a six-year-old boy in Kenya is abandoned by his family and left to raise himself on the streets? MULLY is no ordinary rags-to-riches tale. It's the true story of Charles Mully, whose unlikely stratospheric rise to wealth and power leaves him questioning his own existence, searching for meaning in life. Against the better judgment of family and community, Mully sets out to enrich the fate of orphaned children across Kenya. Jeopardizing his own life and the security of his family, Charles Mully risks everything and sets in motion a series of events that is nothing short of astonishing.

You can catch this new documentary film from Focus on the Family at the Cineplex Colisée Kirkland exclusively on October 4 and 12.

South Sudan Famine Relief — ARDFC

South Sudan Famine Relief — ARDFC

The South Sudanese — already desperately poor and struggling to survive in the midst of a three-year civil war — are facing famine. Many have had to flee their homes searching for safety. Others, who have stayed behind haven't been able to plant their crops due to the war. The warring government and rebel forces which have created this terrible situation have been preventing humanitarian aid from reaching those most in need. Now the international community is beginning to take note and stepping in to try to restore peace and order and get food and supplies to the starving.

With our strong relationship with the South Sudan Episcopal Church, we are able to send aid directly to where the famine is most severe to support their work of feeding and caring for those who need it most. Join the relief effort with the Anglican Relief & Development Fund Canada.

Remember Jesus — Anglican Network in Canada Synod 2017

Remember Jesus — Anglican Network in Canada Synod 2017

October 25 - 27, 2017 | Burlington, ON

Our ANiC Synod will be taking place in Burlington, Ontario this year, and the theme will be "Remember Jesus", taken from 2nd Timothy 2:8-10:

Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound! Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Trinity Sunday Banner

Trinity Sunday Banner

Let’s try something new this year – a Trinity Sunday Banner! Our seasonal newsletter is now available in paper on Sundays or online right here, or catch up on our previous editions here.

Saint Timothy's Banner is more than a newsletter. It contains messages from the people, poetry and even jokes. It is a place to express yourself and share individual testimonies as well as words of wisdom. It is a place where we remember those we have lost. But first and foremost it is a showcase for Christ in our lives!

Mission on Our Doorstep — ACNA Provincial Assembly 2017

Mission on Our Doorstep — ACNA Provincial Assembly 2017

June 27 - 30, 2017 | Wheaton, Illinois

Global Family, Local Mission, Shared Gospel

This June, the Anglican Church in North America gathered as a Province in one place for fellowship, worship, and teaching. The time was designed for us to be together as the Body of Christ: learning, praying, and edifying one another in the Faith.

Every member, every parish, every convocation, every diocese, every bishop, every priest, every deacon, and every seminarian has a God-presented opportunity to make a difference for Christ right outside our front doors. We have been given God’s message for all humanity in the Good News of Jesus Christ, and North America is in need of His Word.

Proclaiming Christ Faithfully to the Nations — Jerusalem 2018

Proclaiming Christ Faithfully to the Nations — Jerusalem 2018

JUNE 17 - 22, 2018 | Jerusalem, ISRAEL

GAFCON 2018 will be held in Jerusalem, returning to the place where the movement began in 2008 when over 1,000 delegates acclaimed the inspirational Jerusalem Statement and Declaration. Attendance increased to over 1,500 for GAFCON 2013 in Nairobi and we expect a healthy increase in 2018.

“The Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) is enabling the Anglican Communion to be fit for God’s purposes in the twenty-first century. We are uniting Anglicans around the world in faithful witness to Jesus Christ and recovering Biblical truth where it has been compromised. There is much still to do, but we give great thanks to God for his grace at work among us.”

— Archbishop Nicholas Okoh, GAFCON Chairman & Primate of the Church of Nigeria
