In a nutshell…
As Christians, we believe that God loves humankind, and has acted to save us from sin and death through his Son, Jesus Christ. We joyfully receive the Bible as the Word of God, by which he makes himself known to us, and invites us to live with him in a new and wonderful way.
As Anglicans, we belong to a long tradition of deep theological reflection and beautiful liturgical worship, stretching back to the English Reformation, and beyond, to the ancient Church.
Statements of Faith
St. Timothy’s is guided by the following historic statements of faith:
The Three Creeds | Confessions of the ancient Church, which summarize God’s self-revelation in Scripture.

The Solemn Declaration (1893) | A declaration of purpose for the Anglican church in Canada.
The Jerusalem Declaration (2008) | An international statement of core Anglican commitments for the 21st century.
The Fundamental Declarations (2009) | The founding theological statement of the ACNA.
